The column cheese press is very easy to operate and is used when more molds of the same size are pressed. The capacity of the cheese press is determined by the number of cylinders and the size of molds to be pressed. A stack can be made for different sizes of molds by changing the guide bars in different slots. The column cheese press can be delivered with adjustable feet or placed on wheels. Every two cylinders has a control set consisting of an up / down switch, pressure controller and pressure gauge. A compressor can be supplied with the press.

 

For the bigger size cheese moulds (more than 15kg) C. van 't Riet can supply stainless steel Gouda cheese molds. A Gouda cheese mold consists a plastic cheese mould, mould net, cover and cover net. Our Gouda cheese molds, available from manufacturer Kadova and Laude (microperforated), are easy to handle, have a long life and are easy to clean. Should a component be replaced? Then it is not necessary to re-purchase the entire Gouda cheese mold; you just have to order the needed parts.

 

The automatic drainage container is used to pre-press the curd and drain the whey and cut blocks that fit into a particular size of cheese mold. The machine is PLC controlled and has a color touch-screen from where the parameters can be entered for different sizes and styles of cheese. The overhead device of the automatic drainage container moves over the curd bed and presses the curd in steps. The pressing time and pressure and number of pressing cycles can be pre-programmed and entered on the touch-screen. The curd is automaticaly cut into blocks and transported to the end-table, from where they can easily moved into the cheese molds.

A manual drainage container can be used to pre-press the curd and drain the whey and cut blocks that fit into a particular size of cheese mold. The manual drainage container is made to fit to the capacity of curd in the cheese vat. The curd can flow by gravity from the the cheese vat to the drainage-finishing table if the cheese vat is placed on a platform, or the curd can be pumped to the cheese vat with a special low speed curd pump.

 

The Double O open cheese vat is designed for the production of high quality cheese, curd and whey, and has a capacity from 2.000 to 5.000 litres. The double O open cheese vat can be customized according to the individual specifications of each client. The cheese vat is made of triple stainless steel walls with insulated jackets and has a advanced cutting mechanism. Hot or cold water can circulate through a spray-pipe in the jacket of the vat. The cheese vat can be delivered as a combination cheese vat / pasteurizer.
