On behalf of the pasteurization of milk, C. van ’t Riet designs and produces flow pasteurizers with a capacity of 500 up to 25.000 ltr/hour or more. The flow pasteurizer is the most effective machine to ensure the quality and safety of raw milk. The milk is processed through a continues process. Thereafter it can be processed into the desired final dairy product. Flow pasteurization with a heat regeneration up to 95% makes this equipment an environmental friendly system.

 European standards

The European community has presented a standard regarding the dairy industry. The flow pasteurizer of C. van ‘t Riet complies to all European these standards and can be adapted to the standards and norms of the concerning country, where the machine will be put into operation

  • Operation

The product is transported from the level tank through the heat exchanger where the product is warmed up through regeneration energy and hot water. Hereafter, the product is being kept in the holding tube on a high temperature for the required time, after which it is cooled down by regeneration. Depending on the desired end temperature, the final product will be heated or cooled with respectively hot or cold water.

  • Regeneration: 95% of the energy is recycled

Through regeneration the cold product is heated up with the energy of the pasteurised product. Therefore 95% of the energy is recycled; which makes this process is really energy saving. A requirement for regeneration is that the cold product should not be mixed with the pasteurized product. The concerning safety devices are described in the technical specifications.
